Brooks boats designs has some lovely boat plans. link is to peregrine. single and double rowing boats. arch davis has several models plans, supplies, some kit parts. also spoon or straight blade oar plans. gartside boats offers many plans including rowing boats. he even has a pedal boat.. The design nigel came up with all those years ago was a slender 14ft clinker plywood dinghy, with an upright stem and elegantly raked transom. although primarily a rowing boat, it was fitted with a modest lug rig (just 61sq ft/5.7sq m), complete with daggerboard and rudder.. Ocean rowing boats we at rossiters do build ocean rowing boats from solo to 8 man boats. if you were just after a design to build yourself it is probably something you would have to commission as plans owned by builders aren't really for sale. there are a couple of very good naval architects that have designed ocean rowing boats before i can.
